When I last saw her, my grandmother gave me the idea of doing a picture a day of our move to South Africa. I thought it was an interesting topic to blog on, so that's what this is.

Wednesday, July 13 (Long Lake, Minnesota)
Uncle Andrew decided he wanted to try surfing. Only, we don't have a surfboard, neither do we have waves big enough to surf on. So he improvised by standing up in the kayak and giving himself a shove off. It worked pretty well; for a while.
