After a couple weeks of waiting, we now have our new car, a Kia Sedona that is very similar to the Toyota Sienna we had in the states. It has a sun roof, automatic doors, lots of cup holders, seat back eating trays, and (my favorite part) a really great input audio system. I can plug my ipod in, control it from a remote, and the same system can connect via bluetooth to a phone. It's a diesel car, and very updated.
When I last saw her, my grandmother gave me the idea of doing a picture a day of our move to South Africa. I thought it was an interesting topic to blog on, so that's what this is.

I was so excited to receive your email with this blog today. I'm busy doing learning plans and what a heartwarming break to read about your adventures, your wonderful, large family and especially your 99 year old grandmother. The color of your uniforms are cool and I will be interested to hear how you ornament them as time goes on. Good luck with finding a safe house and hope it has a pool. Orcas life begins to take on its August look—chartreuse colors and foggy mornings. The ferries are still crammed with tourists, bicyclists cover the roadsides, restaurants are full and the Orcas Chamber festival is in full swing. Hello to everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteNeat car - I can just picture you all piling in and heading for another sightseeing tour - or, God willing - discovering just the perfect home for all of you! Love you all - hugs to everyone. Grandma Joy on a cool (57) MN morn.
